★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice well run, friendly family owned and managed Alpine Hotel in the lovely village of Westendorf, Tirol, Austria. Good for outdoor activities, cycling, mountain hiking, walking, paragliding. Good food, wonderful village Brass Band, unique local Huber beer made in nearby St Johann. East bus and train commute to Kitzbhuel, Innsbruck or Saltburn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed staying here, the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great as you can walk directly from the hotel to the ski lifts. The hotel is also just a walking distance from the ski/snowboard equipment rental stores which makes that whole process incredibly convenient. Other amenities like the pool and sauna were nice - for the sauna you basically just reserve a 30 minute slot where you get to enjoy it privately. Other than that the food was good and the hotel was super clean.
