A	Agnes .S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Hotel Herzog Friedrich ist mit seinem fast komplett erhaltenen Interieur der 1970er sehr sehens- und erlebenswert. Man kann nur hoffen dass es nicht renoviert wird, der Look ist wirklich das Kapital dieser Institution. Aber auch das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit! Heutzutage gibt es im Herzog Friedrich nur noch (ein gutes) Frühstück, aber viele Restaurants warten direkt vor der Tür. The Hotel Herzog Friedrich with its almost completely preserved interior of the 1970s is very worth seeing and worth experiencing. One can only hope that it will not be renovated, the look is really the capital of this institution. But the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Nowadays there are only (good) breakfasts in Duke Friedrich, but many restaurants are waiting on the doorstep.

Aber sonst alles ok, alles sauber und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt würde ich es wieder buchen. Nice hotel, good location, good walking distance, friendly staff. Setup something retro. Could be a bit more modern. But otherwise everything was ok, everything was clean and for a short stay I would book it again.

Personal total freundlich und nett! Sehr zu empfehlen! Hotel not the newest, but very clean and very good mattresses! Absolutely fresh, rich breakfast with a large selection. Staff totally friendly and nice! We recommend!

Milchalternativen, exotischen Fruchtsäften, leckeren Brötchen... Hatte etwas im Hotelzimmer vergessen, wurde angerufen und bekam den Gegenstand umgehend zugesendet. Very clean! Very friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Very great breakfast with freshly boiled eggs, fruit, milk and various milk alternatives, exotic fruit juices, delicious bread rolls ... Had forgotten something in the hotel room, was called and got the item immediately sent.

Frühstück war reichhaltig. Brötchen hingegen schienen vom Vortag zu sein. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Abgenudelte Teppiche im Frühstücksraum und nicht mehr zeitgemässe Zimmerschlösser (Zwei schwere Schlüssel statt Schlüsselkarte). Obwohl wir den Fernseher nicht gebraucht haben, könnte man diesen an die Wand schrauben, statt mit den sichtbaren Kabeln einfach rumstehen lassen. The central location at the beginning of the pedestrian area and the friendly staff. The bed was ok, the blankets, however, too rustling loud. Breakfast was rich. Buns, however, seemed to be from the previous day. The hotel is a bit old. Rippled carpets in the breakfast room and outdated room locks (two heavy keys instead of key card). Although we did not need the TV, you could screw it to the wall instead of just letting it stand with the visible cables.
