A highly authentic feel to the whole place.
Small, but nice room, albeit a bit simple decorated, but nice and clean with a nice bathroom, with newer installations.
Very attentive staff, with an owner who, along with his family, goes above and beyond to make sure you have a nice stay. Arranging mountainwalks and themed evenings at no extra cost.
An easy and cheap 20 min S-Bahn ride from Salzburg.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is not too big, in Puch village, it's very clean and the personnel very kind. I gave it 3 stars because the continental breakfast is always the same (and i've been there several times), the furniture in the hotel.and inside the rooms is old. The SPA is at level -1, it's small, has 3 sauna cabins that are free, a room with 2 hay beds for relaxation. They have a locker but u need a coin to lock it and also you need coins for the jacuzzi. It's pretty modest but very clean and nice. The rooms are spatious with tv but no a/c. One winter i was slightly cold because i couldn't heat the room with a/c. Sheets are very nice, beds have very comfortable pillows and mattresses. If you arrive late they will leave the key on the counter at the reception. Reception is closed betwen 23-7. They have a small bar to have a beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is simple, interesting to see in these times still a very old fashioned styling in a hotel, up till the key entry with a bulky keychain. But of course not practical. The rooms are okay, with outdated wooden finishing. More suitable for a cheap vacationing in Puch rather than pampering yourself with a fancy rustic experience...
Restaurant is very good though!

- Food: Real traditional Austrian food. Delicious and hefty.
- Staff: Friendly. We felt very welcome.
- Location: Close to the runway in the middle of the town Puch.
- Kids: There is a kids playground. There are kids menus available.
- Prices: Prices are low to moderate for the quality and the good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and facilities were modern. The building is beautiful inside and out, and views of surrounding hills and town are breathtaking. Breakfast was wonderful and included with the stay (common in Europe), but we also ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and happily answered several questions. When we return, we will definitely stay there again!
