★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Hotel Elisabeth with friends for Christmas and were thrilled with our holiday. Kühtai is a fantastic village, with a really lovely feeling. The hotel staff were excellent, in every way; extremely accommodating, welcoming and kind. Our two children were very well looked after, and made to feel at home. The rooms are spacious, and well appointed, although could do with some decorating soon. The food is excellent. Buffet breakfasts, and a fantastic three course meal every day ensured we were never left feeling hungry after a day's skiing.
Unfortunately, the hotel lobby is on the first floor (the boot room is ground level), and there is no lift in the building, meaning access would be very tricky indeed for those less able. It would also be an improvement if the sauna and steam rooms were open longer hours. There were times when I visited, and neither had been switched on at all, meaning a long wait for them to warm up.
Despite these small drawbacks, we very much enjoyed our stay, and would consider visiting Kühtai, and Hotel Elisabeth again.
