The atmosphere and decor was okay however the food was very good. Service could of been friendlier and the vegetarian menu slightly improved.

Average at best...breakfast is ok dinner typically Austrian pork pork and more pork..reception staff one lady was helpful the others below average Indian lad in the front desks, makes one feel very unprofessional...service staff apart from the main manager who is excellent trained and attentive others shows the lack of training...rooms are ok clean, but hot water sometimes run out... during rush hour...overall for the price we paid trough a travel agent not worth it....

room is accepted. Breakfast is average. It is 10 mins by car to Zell Am See Lake where you can have a round trip (45 mins round trip). Supermarkets are near by foot. There are restaurants near the hotel by foot (also a restaurant with Halal food). You will also find shops and big supermarket + a big shop for selling equipment (Media Market) IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a church next to the hotel and it is noisy as the bell rings in different times and it annoys you while sleeping.

A decent sized hotel that offers everything you need for a skiing getaway. Buffet breakfast, ski hire down stairs and an attached bar and restaurant. The sauna facilities are top notch. Perfect way to kick back after a day on the slopes. Local bus stop near by and plenty of good restaurants around to change things up.

Unfortunately, one of the worst hotels I have ever been except that the rooms are clean. They try to save money on EVERY SINGLE THING. For example, the fan in the bathroom only works for 5 minutes then it stops and you have to press it again. We ordered an extra bed and it was the worst. The breakfast is good but the diversity of food is somehow the same everyday. Furthermore, there is no AC, face tissue, basket, refrigerator, phone guid to call the reception in the whole room.

We had a super skiing trip staying here. We arrived on NYE from Salzburg using Holiday Shuttle GMBH & Co KG for the transfer, who picked us up early as our flight was ahead of schedule. We checked in at Latini, the sister hotel next door and as there had been so many cancellations due to covid, we were offered dinner in the four star hotel. The meal on NYE was six courses and would’ve easily cost £100 in a London restaurant. Later in the week we returned to dining in Schütthof and the food was good, with a wide selection available for both breakfast and dinner. There is also a free snack meal available in Latini between 3-5pm daily which is ideal after a day on the slopes. We shopped around for ski hire but ended up using the shop between the hotels as it was cheapest. The gear was really good and the service exemplary and friendly. The hotel reception organised our ski passes so we didn’t have to queue and could walk (5 minutes) to the lift and get skiing straight away. All the staff at the hotel are super courteous and warm and speak great English. I booked a couple of lessons whilst here and this can be done at reception. There is a store for ski gear overnight with a heated shoe rack for drying boots. The sauna/steam room area is plush and ideal after you’ve been skiing all day (it’s no swimwear but once we were used to that it was quite liberating!). Aside from the lift a five minute walk away, there’s also a regular bus into Kaprun and we really enjoyed the Kitzsteinhorn mountain (which is all included in the lift pass). There’s a gondola across to the glacier and the views are spectacular (again all included in the lift pass). There’s a really good app which shows your location on all the slopes and what colour the runs are. We walked into Zell am See one day which takes around half an hour and is mostly along the side of the lake. It’s very pretty and the town itself is cute. If you’re looking for welcoming ski holiday where everything has been thought of, this is the place to stay and well worth the connection from Salzburg. It’s covid secure, everyone takes mask wearing very seriously. If we can get a good price again, well definitely be back. The first photo is the view from our room window and the second from our balcony.

Very small room, poor quality old furniture. No kettle in the room. The hotel charged like 5€ for every single cup of tea. Even though we had dinner included they charged for every single drink. Charged us 2€ for tap water, because "that's what the director said". Shocking and extremely unprofessional. We feel like we wasted money so wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. Typical business that want your money so badly. Very rude and arrogant female manager in the restaurant. Arguing with me over tap water. Overall, poor service, they barely speak English so hard to communicate. But the worst is that they will charge you for everything!!! Shocking!!!
