★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location and service for the price. Room was plenty large. Free parking for guests. And although it was confusing that the "front desk" receptionist is not right when you walk in the door, there were adequate signs in different languages to direct me to the elevator and the 3rd floor to check into my room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean rooms, friendly staff and very good breakfast. The oldtown is in reach by foot. You can leave your car in the hotel garage and enjoy your visit in Klagenfurt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NOT 4* AT ALL. Hotel is on the 3rd & 4th floor above a paint shop & a doctor’s office. Stiflingly HOT with pathetic AC.
This hotel is above a suite of offices...hidden in a back street.
AC was pathetic but so noisy as next to the train tracks couldn’t open the windows either.
WIFI was pathetic we paid for extra data on our phones it was so bad.
Breakfast was meagre and not replenished. Only two hot items, scrambled eggs & bacon. The egg was left for hours hardening & drying out.
Literally ZERO English speaking channels on TV. Not even CNN/BBC news.
Train noise was unbearable especially the 2am express that thunders through.
No toiletries just pump dispensers.
Tea & coffee is one drink each per day.
One bath towel & one hand towel each (not bath sheet) no robes or slippers no extras.
The address given is NOT accessible by car...they need to provide sat nat coordinates for the parking garage hidden away at the back.
I gave the director of the hotel the opportunity to address these problems but the derisory offer of ONE free breakfast as compensation was so insulting I declined and paid in full; feeling my conscience is clear to leave this truthful review.
I have uploaded photographs. They may be pushed to the end but they’ll be there.
Beds were comfortable and soft.
And that’s it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location if you want to hear and see the passing-by trains 24/7. Friendly staff. Fare room size. Requires renovation of corridors and bathrooms. No attractions nearby. City center is more than 1 km away. No doormen. No concierge. From aside it doesn’t look like a hotel (3d and 4th floors of an office building).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forget about 4 stars, three maybe... The rooms could have been cleaner, the bathroom too. If you come later (8 AM!) for the breakfast, the choice is already a little bit limited... But very friendly stuff. Great location near the Hauptbahnhof!
