★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing fancy but not bad either. The bus picks you up here which is nice. The food was very boring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and friendly staff, cappuccino was bad unfortunately. The food was better though. Could be much improved...atmosphere and coffee to begin with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bathrooms are not properly cleaned. Shower get/shampoo are not provided. Breakfast is pretty light. Coffee is only instant, from a machine. The place could use a renovation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alpina Regina is an authentic alpine-style hotel, based in the little town of Bieberwier, Tirol.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights total. The basic rooms are quite large. We had a small dressing and the bathroom had a bathtub with showerhead. The room was clean but basic. We also noticed that our towels never got replaced, which is okay when staying for 3 nights.
The hotel itself has a restaurant and bar where you can eat the traditional Austrian dishes. Nothing special about the restaurant, the dishes are meaty and filling like all Austrian dishes.
In the morning we got a typical Dutch breakfast. Different types of bread with cheese, ham and a variety of jelly. Some yoghurt with muesli but no fresh fruit. Also no pastries or croissants for those who like something sweet in the morning.
Futhermore the hotel is equipped with a sauna (which was turned off during our stay), a recreational room with a pool-table and football table. And finally a room to store your ski’s.
All in all, the hotel is great for families with children. It’s location is good if you don’t mind taking the bus to the ski lifts. The bus stops at the hotel and takes you to all of the nearby skiing areas. Make sure you don’t miss it because it only comes once an hour.
I enjoyed our stay but I was here for skiing so I didn’t mind the basic setting. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if your purpose is anything other than skiing or hiking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are the friendliest people you can hope to host you. We arrived late at night, asked to eat. Though the kitchen was already closed, the owner cooked a generous plate of spaghetti to our greatest satisfaction.
The current owners took over this hotel 3 month ago. I assume that all poor reviews you can read were about the previous staff.
Thank you for your warm welcome and your genuine kindness.
Oh! Should I add that the place has obviously been recently renovated. All is perfectly clean and the furniture are brand new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing visit. More than half of the dining room is without any light which makes the place not cozy at all. The schnitzel and salad we ordered were pretty bad and tasteless. The white beer was not cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a compact and decent hotel. As the room was not to our liking, management changed it to much better room. View from hotel of the snow clad mountains is simply marvellous. As very few establishments are there beyond the hotel a morning walk will be refreshing and rewarding. Visitors can take as many pics as possible of roads, buildings, cute gardens, trees and the like. We had an amazing experience. Food was ok. For travellers manageable
