★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place hasn’t let us down in nearly three decades of visits; it’s top notch inside the hotel (staff, wellness, food, lounge) and it’s location directly on the slope outside is extraordinary. It’s semi isolation in Hochsölden is an additional treat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location for ski in/out with magnificent panoramic views on the mountains and the valley. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make your stay really enjoyable. The food is well taken care off, and specifically the dinner is something to look forward to every evening.
For us a reason why we return to Alpenfriede for several years now, it feels like coming home and are planning to go back next year again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herr Lengler and staff are the best. You feel like you are staying at the owners home. Herr Lengler treats you as his personal guests. They are helpful with your booking, taxi service, transfers, COVID testing, …..everything. The staff are fun and make sure your holiday is memorable.

It’s a great resort and the hotel is well equipped and has an excellent location. Even if the prices were high, it felt like we were going to get value for money.
However, when we were asked to pay for tap water when spending significant amounts on drinks every evening we did get slightly turned off.
The “coup de grace” was getting kicked out of the bar at 10pm on our last night because the staff were going to have their own party.
Sorry, we won’t be coming back…
