K	Krista Kainzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for two days one night with a family of 5 adults (including myself) in the family room of 6 beds. All beds are comfortable and big enough, car park is provided, and the breakfast buffet was simple yet delicious. Staff here are very kind.

The family suite was very big and had four beds perfect for a family of five and with lots of space, the other room had a nice balcony with a good view. The breakfast was excellent and with lots of variety at a really nice price per person. Best of all the location of the hotel is very good lots of other places are very close by. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to visit during winter for skiing as most skiing places are 30 minutes away by car.

I was sleeping in a tent on a nearby camping when it suddenly started raining heavily and my tent broke. I called the hotel asking if they had any rooms still available, and they told me they'd leave a key in one of the empty rooms and that I could pay the day after since there was nobody around at that time. I arrived almost soaking wet at around 1am, and sure enough they had left the key for me, and not just any room but probably one of the biggest rooms they had available. I had a great night in the room instead of drowning in my tent that night. The next evening they told me that I didn't have to pay since the room wasn't booked anyway for that night and because I arrived so late with bad circumstances. I would 100% go here again, the room was great but the service was impeccable.

The room wasn’t clean at all: a lot of fungus on the walls and in the bathroom. The floor underneath the beds was covered in dust and had some stuff of earlier guests remaining on the floor (cotton swab).

However bathroom had no shower curtain, no shelf for soap, shampoo, with a glass door which was partially transparent. May be an issue for shared accommodation... Golling is a very nice locality, especially small lake Eagles see (lake) was beautiful
H	Hendrik Bower on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll start with the positive: the food was mostly very good though there seemed to be a pattern of very chewy grilled meat. Any stewed meat or meat rendered as burgers was great. Excellent sweet potato fries, just generally great. Way above average food quality. Seating was a bit cramped, and large groups are seated at long thin tables, so you'd better sit next to someone you really want to talk to. The music was "worst of the 90s" and much too loud. Music in s restaurant should be ignorable and quiet. This really is gastro 101. The restaurant toilets are up one floor and halfway round that floor - in the middle of a hotel. I mean it's not the end of the world, and they were very clean. Hands down the worst thing was the lack of ventilation. As soon as the place filled up, it was unbearable. Even once they switched on the ventilation (do it from the START, guys), it remained so unbearable that the guests next to the patio doors moved furniture out of the way and opened them. In November. Now given that Austrians like it tropical indoors, this should give you some indication of how bad it was. So much potential!
