★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the second time we visited Penzion Wagnermigl and both our stays were simply great. The hotel itself is very nice and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. But the highlight are the breakfasts; never have I seen such a broad variety of options - 3 choices of warm meals, pastries, hams, all sorts of cheese, fruits, vegetables, smoked salmon, multiple kinds of olives, dried tomatoes ... you name it. The penzion is conveniently close to train stop and Burgerausee (swimming).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent family, excellent hosts, excellent B&B/pension, excellent environment. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. If you are ever in this part of Austria, it would be a sin to stay anywhere else. I highly recommend Hotel-Pension Wagnermigl.

The location is perfect for guests with and without a car for both walks in the beautiful surroundings as well as excursions to Salzburg via train station practically next door (for free!). ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place and very friendly owners that help you to have the best experience. Even received a nice goodbye present :) awesome location in the centre of Kuchl, spacious clean and nice rooms, amazing view. On the corridors you experience time travelling thanks to various decoration. If you come around to this area, i definitely suggest this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an excellent stay. The family and staff are super-friendly. The hotel has a great breakfast and large outdoor play area for kids with a large trampoline. The location is excellent, 20 minutes outside of Salzburg and close to the town center and to a small lake with plenty of nature surrounding it. We will be back.

The owners are so nice that you want to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a happy accident that I stayed at Hotel Wagnermigl. A last minute cancelation at a different accommodation found us stressing on where to stay and luckily Hotel Wagnermigl had availability - and what a stroke of luck it was! It was by far one of the friendliest, kindest and loveliest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning was amazing. A full spread of hot and cold items including local meats, cheeses and honey. I would return to the area simply to stay here again. Highly recommend! Thank you so much!
