★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heute früh, beim Warten auf die Bahn, wurde mir einmal mehr die enorme Häßlichkeit des Schotterwerks bewusst. Und das liegt nicht primär an dem feinen, an nuklearen Fallout erinnernden Staub, der hier am Morgen herumfliegt und alles bedeckt. Es ist vielmehr diese bedrohliche Zwischenkriegs-Monstrosität in einem sonst sehr beschaulichen kleinen Ort, die sich schon von Weitem in den Vordergrund drängt. Ein Kurort, so wird er zumindest offiziell genannt, direkt am Nationalpark Donauauen, zwischen den ehrwürdigen, geschichtsträchtigen Orten Petronell-Carnuntum und Hainburg. Die Betreiber des Kieswerkes verstehen es konsequent und ohne Rücksicht auf einen Kurort und die Nähe zum Nationalpark Donauauen weiterhin diese schöne Gegend herabzuwürdigen. Und ich werde dieses Zeilen immer wieder erneut posten, egal wie oft ihr sie löscht.

And that is not primarily due to the fine dust, reminiscent of nuclear fallout, which flies around here in the morning and covers everything. Rather, it is this threatening interwar monstrosity in an otherwise very contemplative small town that is already in the foreground from afar. A health resort, as it is at least officially called, right on the Donauauen National Park, between the venerable, historical towns of Petronell-Carnuntum and Hainburg. The operators of the gravel works understand how to continue to degrade this beautiful area, regardless of a health resort or the proximity to the Donauauen National Park. And I'll post this line over and over again, no matter how often you delete them.
