Manko: die Österreichische Bundesforste ist so unmenschlich und schließt den Schranken dass man mit Kleinkindern nicht an das Ende des Fahrweges fahren kann, somit wird der Weg dann fast überfordernd! Good, down-to-earth cuisine friendly hut hosts with team, always worth a trip! Shortcoming: the Austrian Federal Forest is so inhumane and closes the barriers that you can't drive to the end of the road with small children, so the way is almost overwhelming!

S	Sebastian Huber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind heute vom Wanderparkplatz Wildmoos zum Hohenzollernhaus über den Sommerwanderpfad gewandert. Die Strecke (ca. 6,5 km) war für uns Wanderanfänger dank der Höhenmeter anspruchsvoll aber für das Erreichen dieser wundervollen Hütte jeden Schritt wert!! Die Aussicht ist wundervoll aber noch besser ist einfach die wunderschöne und urige Hütte mit ihren Freundlichen Gastgebern :) Wir wurden direkt mit einem Zirbenschnaps in Empfang genommen, was uns nach der Anstrengung überglücklich machte! Das Essen dort war einfach Spitze!!! Wir hatten Kaspressknödelsuppe, Kässpätzle, Selchfleisch und n Kaiserschmarrn!! Fantastisch <3 Die Gastgeber sind einfach richtig herzig und aufgeschlossen. Man fühlt sich in der kleinen aber feinen Gaststuben sofort wohl. Am Liebsten hätten wir direkt dort übernachtet. Das heben wir uns einfach fürs nächste Mal auf. Denn wir werden sicher wieder kommen! :) Today we hiked from the Wildmoos hiking car park to the Hohenzollernhaus via the summer hiking trail. The route (approx. 6.5 km) was demanding for us hikers thanks to the altitude difference, but worth every step to reach this wonderful hut! The view is wonderful but even better is the beautiful and rustic hut with its friendly hosts :) We were greeted directly with a stone pine schnapps, which made us overjoyed after the exertion! The food there was just great! We had cheese dumpling soup, cheese spaetzle, smoked meat and Kaiserschmarrn! Fantastic <3 The hosts are just really kind and open-minded. You immediately feel at home in the small but fine dining room. We would have loved to stay there directly. We'll just keep that for next time. Because we will come back for sure! :)
L	Lyka Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Berghütte mit tollem Wirt. Die Schlafräume sind vorhanden. Das Essen war extrem lecker, leider bestand ein Problem mit dem Herd und somit gab es die vegetarischen Spaghetti leider nicht. Stattdessen habe ich Käseknödel gegessen welche extrem lecker waren. Das Sauerkraut war auch sehr gut gewürzt, für manche könnte es aber zu weich sein. Vesperplatte war auch gut: Käse, Schinken, Speck, gutes Graubrot. Das Anwesen ist eingezäunt, um die sehr süßen Ziegen vom Gast fern zu halten. Es Husky ist innerhalb des Zauns, sie lässt sich aber leider nicht wirklich streicheln (Bitte nicht füttern!). Wir sind den Schildern zum Hohenzollernhaus gefolgt und bei der Gabelung von Winter- und Sommerpfad zuerst den Winterpfad gewandert. Dieser wird zum Ende hin sehr steil und anstrengend. Der Sommerpfad beim Abstieg (Teilweise gesperrt, Radurschlalm!) war sehr angenehm. Nice mountain hut with a great host. The bedrooms are available. The food was extremely tasty, unfortunately there was a problem with the stove and therefore the vegetarian spaghetti was unfortunately not available. Instead I ate cheese dumplings which were extremely tasty. The sauerkraut was also very flavorful, but for some it might be too soft. Vesper platter was good too: cheese, ham, bacon, good brown bread. The property is fenced in to keep the very cute goats away from the guest. The husky is inside the fence, but unfortunately she cannot really be petted (please do not feed!). We followed the signs to the Hohenzollernhaus and first hiked the winter path at the fork in the winter and summer paths. This becomes very steep and exhausting towards the end. The summer path on the descent (partially closed, Radurschlalm!) Was very pleasant.
F	Fra Con on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Aufstieg lohnt sich wirklich, der Winterstieg ist anspruchsvoll und man muss trittsicher sei. Der Sommerstieg ist etwas weiter dafür aber nicht so steil. Vom Parkplatz Wildmoos braucht es ca. 2 Stunden, 1 Stunde gemütlich nach oben und dann wird es erst. Das Panorama auf den Weg und oben entschädigen für alle Mühen. Die Bedienung ist klasse und das Essen sehr lecker. In unserem Fall war es der Kaiserschmarren.. The climb is really worth it, the winter climb is demanding and you have to be sure-footed. The summer climb is a little further but not that steep. From the Wildmoos car park, it takes about 2 hours, 1 hour comfortably up and then it gets better. The panorama on the way and above compensates for all the efforts. The service is great and the food is delicious. In our case it was the Kaiserschmarren ..

J	Jolijn Slaats on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place! Cabins are nice. Hot outdoor shower with a mountain view. And very helpful and friendly staff. It's not a very big commercial place, but feels much more personal and cozy.
