Ein ruhiger Ort an dem jeder in die alten Zeiten und Geschichten eintauchen kann. Anyone interested in the history of the area is in the right place here. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich und das Museum auch ohne Führung sehr informativ. Es werden viele Originalquellen zitiert und teilweise Interviews beteiligter Zeitzeuginnen zum anhören angeboten. Das Museum ist meiner Meinung nach vor allem für technisch und handwerklich interessierte Menschen sehr empfehlenswert. Ebenso bieten die einzelnen Lebensgeschichten beteiligter Personen einen Einblick in das soziale Gefüge der Zeit um 1850 - 1900 im ländlichen Raum, der durch die industrielle Eisenproduktion einen Aufschwung erfährt und damit soziologisch interessierten Besucherinnen einen Grund nach Bundschuh zu kommen. The museum is located in the Bundschuh district. The journey in itself is worth seeing, especially the museum. The reception is very friendly and the museum is very informative even without a tour. Many original sources are cited and some interviews with contemporary witnesses are offered to listen to. In my opinion, the museum is particularly recommended for people interested in technology and craftsmanship. The individual life stories of the people involved also offer an insight into the social structure of the period around 1850 - 1900 in rural areas, which is experiencing an upswing due to industrial iron production and thus a reason to come to Bundschuh for sociologically interested visitors.
