Since I was a child I want to visit this mountain I think it is nice chance to be here specially when snow was running , l like that too much .

I visited here as a child back in the 1990s. We recently visited again with my kids. It was a wonderful experience that we'll never forget. The staff and family that runs this hotel is wonderful. Everything they do is geared towards families and kids. The scenery is breathtaking!

One of the best places we visited with the kids in June 2012. It is just the right place for family with kids. Food, rooms, views, and people are great. 3-4 days are enough to see everything. The area is also great for hikers. Loved it and will visit again for sure when we have the chance.

We had a pleasant stay at the Heidi hotel. However, there are a few items I would mention. We cut our stay by one night due to bad weather. The hotel sits atop an elevation of 1850 meters, so the daytime temperature during the week we stayed in August was usually around 12- 15 degrees, falling to around 8 degrees at night. Most days were wet and cloudy. Possibly we just picked a bad week, but I noticed the temperatures were up to 10 degrees higher some 1000 meters downhill. Activities for kids are great, for kids up to the ages of 10 or so. Older kids might feel they are surrounded by little ones but there is loads of stuff to do in the area. We did some archery and hiking in the nearby mountains. The hotel has a decent pool and wellness area + table football which the kids enjoyed. It offers a single laundry and dryer that can be used 12 hours a day (from 9-21h) but when the hotel is full this means the washer and dryer are always busy, and the only way to use them is to stand next to the washing machine before someone else grabs it. When I finally was able to use the washer (after multiple attempts over two days), i found that someone had cut short my washing cycle and removed my clothes from the washer! I would recommend the hotel adds at least one additional laundry and dryer or move the facilities to a location where they can be used 24 hours a day. Food was ok, waiting staff were generally friendly and caring, and overall we got the impression of a professionally run hotel. Overall, 3 stars.
