The best slopes and huts in the Schladming region. Lots of space, many possibilities. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this ski resort - slopes are perfectly maintained and very wide. Great selection of restaurants too.

Great place to spend winter holiday. New infrastrukture, lifts, ski huts, restaurants. Various difficult ski slopes, everyone find interesting slopes. Great, long XXL Fun slopes for children and adult. Very comfortable connection to next hill - Planai.

The place is awesome. Everything is organized so good that I cannot even imagine what could be better. Hiking, food, entertainments for children, skiing, paraglider tandem flights, free Wi-Fi and spectacular breathtaking views. What else one might need here?

Great skiing/snowboarding place! Really pleasant teachers/instructors at the school for beginners and amazing gondolas and chairlifts to the gorgeous slopes

Hauser Kaibling is one mountain of a ski resort comprised of a total of 4 near the town of Schladming. Elevation is up to around 2000m. It's quite a popular area for locals and tourists to ski in. Thus, it can be very busy on the weekend or holidays. The slopes of this mountain are broader than of the others and prepared OK (at least better than on the other mountains) but limited in number. Good, well-maintained lifts and clean facilities. The food was only mediocre. In total it feels rather towards a mass tourism place (part of Ski Amadé). Parking was convenient though, free of charge and right next to the lift. If you go to Schladming center, you'll also find lots of bars and restaurants for Aprés ski available if that's what you're looking for. The ski pass was one of the more expensive ones with 60€ pretty day per person.

We returned yesterday from Austria and I think we enjoyed skiing in Hauser Kaibling very much. We liked the varity of slopes (blue/red/black), also their width. I was a bit surprised that the piste was not groomed on Wednesday (we came in the morning) but anyway very good feeling prevails. If we have a chance to come back one day, we will definitely return here. Thanks. Jan

Loved the slopes, well maintained even in the post-season (late March), in the 15 C. The lifts were all comfortable and well connected. Only thing to improve is the accessibility of the top: the last 100 m with cca. 10 m elevation is missing, not very handy walking up with a snowboard. Also the connection route no.6 is not really suitable for boarders.
