★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before you read the other comments, please be aware that the Haus Tirol has got new owners half a year ago! So everything about the rooms and the location might still be accurate, but the breakfast must definitely have changed since then.
Now to my impression: Our room was nice and clean and had a little balcony facing the main street (which isn't that much frequented in this town) with a great view onto the mountains (including Kitzsteinhorn). There is a public bus stop in front of the house and a good restaurant ('Dorfkrug') directly next to it. The center of the town is 5-10 minutes walking distance away.
The only - but in my eyes huge - disadvantage is the breakfast. The coffee smelled awfully fishy and tasted exactly like that. Everything else on the breakfast buffet looked very artificial and wasn't presented very appealing. Not how I expect a breakfast in such a nice town.
If you can choose, I suggest to book the room without breakfast and get it some other place in town.
I would have given a third star if the new owners made it clear that this is a 'new' hotel. But making profit out of the old ratings and hiding this information somewhere on their homepage costs one star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is about the customer experience and not about the place since Haus Tirol cancelled my reservation done through a well known booking site using the pretext that my card payment could not be processed (almost 3 months after I made the reservation). Even though my card had no issue, I updated the payment details and messaged the property to process it again. The result: reservation was cancelled with the same reason. The property could not be contacted by me nor by Booking using the phone numbers provided (both Austria and Czech Republic), did not send the proof of denied transaction to the Booking agent and my bank confirmed that there was no request for authorization on my card. I can only be glad that they cancelled it, since I prefer not to deal with businesses having this kind of values.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at Haus Tirol was such a great experience for us. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, fully equipped with everything we needed, and clean. We stayed with two babies and we loved having a place to sit in the room except for the bedroom when they were sleeping. The view was also wonderful.
Thomas was a great host, so accommodating and helpful. He was genuinely nice, and made the stay even better. Plus - the breakfast was great. The breakfast area was also so pleasant, and the breakfast is diverse and tasty. Thanks for a wonderful stay
