Although not located within the direct vicinity of ski-slopes - at least not the more interesting ones - this, in practice, is of very little consequence, as all major skiing areas in the region are easy accessible by car, for which the hotel has ample parking space (those that don't mind a bit of walking with their gear can also take a train or a bus from stations within walking distance, though the bus schedule is somewhat eratic). Consequently, we felt the hotel was an excellent location from which to explore the surroundings, as well as offering a comfortable retreat in the evenings, after a long day on the slopes. Our room felt luxurious, with a lot of attention obviously having been paid to its layout and decoration. The beds were comfortable - as was the couch - and the kitchen stocked well above average with the equipment needed to prepare our meals (though a small assortment of tea bags would have been a welcome addition to the otherwise available coffee). For those that don't want to take care of their own breakfast in the mornings, the hotel offers both breakfast and bread-roll services, and a ski-storage can be found in the basement. However, what stood out above all from our experience at the hotel was how friendly and forthcoming our hosts were: always understanding, ready for a chat, and willing to help us with whatever we needed. All in all we had a great time here and, given the opportunity, will certainly come back.

We absolutely had the best time at this location. We are a family of 5 who wanted to play in the snow for the weekend. They are pet friendly and the rooms were nice. The bed was pretty comfortable and the living space was nice and we were able to utilize having a kitchen.
