★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding place to go for outstanding food and service. For traditional Austrian food and hospitality a must to go to in the area. I had the impression we were the only tourists surrounded by locals! Marvelous location and for sure we will come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is separate dining hall for smoking and separate for non smoking people, which is a great plus. Waitresses speak perfect English and offer English menu. Large, tasty portions, 8-15€ price range, good Franziskaner beer. Can pay with card. Would recommend. Get great Malakofftorte for sub 4 Euro!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is a few kilometers away from the historical old town of Salzburg. It comprises an indoor section and an outdoor section, with the latter enjoying the view of a green field and some greenhouses on the left, and some beautiful mountains in Germany on the right in the distance.
The menu offers quite a variety of dishes. The food looks really good when they come, and they don't disappoint. The portion is rather big, so for groups of three people or more, you may consider ordering fewer dishes and save your stomach for some tempting desserts.
The staff are very nice and helpful, and they always wear big smiles. For non- German speakers like me, there's an English menu and the staff would explain everything very clearly and patiently no matter how busy they are.
Overall, this is a nice place to gather with family and friends. For those with kids, there's a small playground (with a slide and three swings) and a mini football pitch outside the outdoor section for children to enjoy themselves while the grown-ups are chatting.
