Hapimag Resort Bad Gastein

My favorite, feels like home away from home.

Awesome place with great pool and wellness (which by the way is free). Close to the skibus stop, and only 15 min walk to the center with great view on the waterfall.

Nice hotel, stayed in the 6 person apartment. We had to use the bedbank which to be honest isnt a bed. Really thin matrass. The hotel itself with the spa, small supermarket, etc.. is great.

Nice place for a family holiday. Staff are very helpful. Love the views from the balconies. The access road is a bit steep and quite an acute angle to get into car park. Swimming pool with features is v good

Beautiful views of the valley. Nice pool and sauna. Good transport connection to ski park area. Enjoyed staying here for a week with friends. Had a lovely walk also around the hotel. It was great.

An absolutely amazing resort, this place has everything you need to have the best possible skiing holiday. The apartments are spacious and if you are lucky like us you will have a beautiful view of the bad hofgestein valley. The resort consists of 4 buildings which are all ingeniously connected by underground tunnels and elevators. The main building is absolutely beautiful and is a prime example of the imperial architecture bad gastein is known for. There are also many amenities: The pool consists of 2 areas, with one for regular pool activities and one with many water massage features (including a waterfall). I do wish the pool was a bit warmer as the water was quite cold. There is also extensive spa with 5 different kinds of saunas. Other amenities include a gameroom, gym, supermarket, reading room and kids rooms. Then to talk about the restaurant, dinner at this hotel is something you need to do atleast ones. I have already written an extensive review on the restaurant of this hotel so check it out if you want to know more. The one thing that is sadly lacking is the breakfast, we had breakfast here ones and there was nearly nothing we could choose from, all pastries were already taken as the hotel didnt refill for some reason (so if you are an early bird the breakfast might be better). But even if we had the pastries, this hotel has the smallest breakfast buffet i have ever encountered, for the price we payed (12,50) we could have literally gotten a more extensive breakfast at the supermarket within the same hotel, or have a lovely breakfast on the mountain, so don't waste your money on the breakfast. All on all I think this resort was absolutely amazing, one of the best i have ever been. The few small short comings don't matter when you look at the bigger picture. I hope to come back some day.
