h	hallo sportdoc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geheimtipp ist es ja fast keiner mehr, aber es ist einen wert, denn es hier Frau Gründling aus einer Privatinitiative heraus zustande bringt, ist beachtlich - wunderbare, variantenreiche und super gute Vorspeisenvariation, die allein schon fast satt macht, ein warmes Tagesgericht, erstklassig gekocht (zb gefülltes Wildhuhn - mit Semmelfülle unter der knusprigen Haut), eine Nachspeisenfolge, die es ebenso in sich hat, dazu Weine, serviert von Gatten, teilweise unbekannte Winzer, aber sehr gut zu trinken, dazu ein romantisches Kellergewölbe vom Feinsten, man fühlt sich wie zuhause, sehr sehr gemütlich! It is almost no longer an insider tip, but it is worth it, because Ms. Gründling manages it from a private initiative, it is remarkable - wonderful, varied and super good appetizer variation that almost makes you full, a warm daily special, top-quality cooked (e.g. stuffed wild chicken - with breadcrumbs under the crispy skin), a dessert sequence that also has a lot to offer, plus wines served by spouses, sometimes unknown winegrowers, but very good to drink, plus a romantic cellar vault at its finest, you feel like at home, very very cozy!

Very good dishes, appetizers created with a wealth of ideas, professionally presented and a very good selection of wines! Gladly again!

Der Familienbetrieb macht mit seinem besonderen Ambiente und dem freundlichen Service den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Man sollte aber ca. 2-3 Wochen vorher einen Tisch reservieren, da das Lokal klein ist und aufgrund des guten Essens, der Ansturm sehr groß ist. Ich komme gerne wieder in dieses Lokal! Here you can eat fantastically well and drink fine wines. The family business, with its special ambience and friendly service, makes your stay an unforgettable experience. But you should reserve a table about 2-3 weeks in advance, as the restaurant is small and due to the good food, the rush is very large. I would love to come back to this place!

Jedoch ist das Service und die Freundlichkeit sehr zu bemängeln: tw. über eine Stunde mit leerem Glas, wenn man um Nachschenken ersucht, dann wortlose und unfreundliche Blicke. Man hat das Gefühl, dass man als Gast nicht willkommen ist, sondern „zur Last fällt“ und dem Servicepersonal (= Eigentümer!!) der Gast zuwider ist. Zudem versucht man in dem kleinen Lokal mehr Gäste rein zu quetschen als angenehm ist, d.h. enge Bestuhlung, keine Gehwege, man wird in kleine - nicht zum Sitzen geeignete Ecken - reingepfercht, etc. Somit leider enttäuschender Abend. First the positives: the food (starter options) were - as always - excellent and creative. However, the service and the friendliness is very bad: tw. over an hour with an empty glass, when asked for refills, then wordless and unfriendly looks. One has the feeling that one is not welcome as a guest, but "is a burden" and the service staff (= owner!!) hates the guest. In addition, they try to squeeze more guests into the small restaurant than is comfortable, i.e. narrow seating, no sidewalks, you are crammed into small corners that are not suitable for sitting, etc. So unfortunately a disappointing evening.

Great hostess, cozy atmosphere. Food is excellent. Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to reserve! Small restaurant but great.
