One of the best barbecue areas on the Danube Island. Optimal accessibility, good access to the water, good mix of shady and sunny spots.

Sitzbank ausgestattet ist, und somit genügend Platz schafft um gemütlich zu essen und alle Speisen zu drapieren. Nur ein paar Schritte vom Ufer entfernt, erlaubt dieser Grillplatz rasches Abkühlen! Er ist umgeben von Bäumen, sodass der Platz nachmittags im Halbschatten liegt, und man die Wahl hat sich in der Sonne bräunen zu lassen, oder im Schatten zu chillen. Einzig um dorthin zu gelangen muss man einen kleineren Fußmarsch in Kauf nehmen, der sich aber jedenfalls lohnt! This barbecue area is beautifully situated, which is equipped with a round stone table including a bench, and thus creates enough space to eat comfortably and to drape all the dishes. Just a few steps from the shore, this barbecue area allows you to cool off quickly! It is surrounded by trees, so that the place is in partial shade in the afternoon, and you have the choice to get a tan in the sun or to chill in the shade. Only to get there you have to take a short walk, but it is definitely worth it!

Der Zugang zum Baden in der Neuen Donau ist an dieser Stelle auch sehr gut. A very nice barbecue area because, unlike others, it is surrounded by large trees. Access to swimming in the New Danube is also very good at this point.

F	F N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place! You book it and get free firewood. The view is nice, you have sun and shadow under the trees and can swim in the Neue Donau! There is a mobile toilet close and a hydration station. From time to time the Ice cream vendor passes or some people selling beer cans from their backpacks!
