I love coming here because the food and drinks are always excellent and the location is so good. But the service really is appalling. I would love to give 5 stars, but the service staff seem to have no system to how they wait the tables, so you can only really get any attention by waving someone over when they are frantically going past your table, and then you might not see them again for half an hour. It's not even that they are rude, there just seems no direction, management should really address this issue, it would be so easy to improve!

The coffee was good but staff are so cold. Not even smile not good customer service very disappointing.

I took a picture of a wonderful sunset, it is definitely right place for a romantic date or for a friends meeting for drinks. And plenty of vegetarian food, yey! Recommended :)!

Food, service and drinks were all great. Some areas need a bit of a makeover. Looks very bare and unwelcoming. Most of the indoor areas look better.

This is a pretty nice place with a good view on the wakeboarding circuit on the Donau. There are some complaints about the staff in previous reviews, we had no such experience.

Sadly, a little too hipster-y for me. The combinations sounded delicious on the card, but sadly left a little dissatisfaction in person. The very rich mango-mozzarella salad with avocado, for example was great just - not dressed? It was salty but a little sour kick was missing, it felt more like a vegetarian tatar thing? The pulled chicken was served fried in spring roll dough, nice idea, just a tiny bit on the dry side... BUT half my table had the burgers and really enjoyed them, so try that, I'd say!

Had dinner at wake_up after a nice evening wakeboard session, what a great way to spend a summer evening in Vienna! Location and atmosphere ✨ Great views on the cable and amazing sunset vibe. Got a table without reservation (at around 8:30pm), but if you wanna have dinner at an earlier time I guess it’s better to reserve in advance as the terrace can get crowded on a warm summer evening. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere, fancy but also casual (we went in with wet hair after wakeboarding). Food and drink ?? Very simple but diverse menu, I’m sure there is something for everyone! A variation of drinks, snacks, burgers, salads, etc. We had the wake-up burger with sweet potato fries and the chicken salad. Both very good and reasonable portions. But the highlight was definitely the burger: delicious combination with feta, probably one of the best burgers we had in Vienna! Wine and lemon soda were also good, finally a lemon soda with a strong taste of fresh lemon, love it. Service ?‍? The food wasn’t only great but also arrived super quickly. The staff has been very friendly and polite from the start. Offered us a nice table with great view, served quickly and seemed to be enjoying talking to guests. Big plus in terms of hospitality! Definite recommendation - especially if you’re into wakeboarding. A nice dinner after a great sunset sesh, what could be better? ???‍♀️
