★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Throughout urban Austria (excl. Vienna, V. Neustadt), this railway station is by far the most customer friendly one. For instance, what makes it special is that in Salzburger Hbf, there was a constant and heavy smell all over. In Grazer Hbf, it is very clean, and possible to meet much more Slovenes than anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Graz Main Train Station is well designed and conviently connected to bus lines, regional commuter trains and city tram lines. There is a grocery store, a large book store, a bakery, post office and better than average coffee shop. When we asked for directions the information people were polite and helpful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every shop and lounge in this train station was closed before 11:00 PM. My friend and I were getting a connecting FliXBUS at the station and security kicked everyone out of the station before midnight disregarding any and all safety hazards stranding two young girls in a dark and desolate area could bring. Also there was a bunch of vomit under a bench that looked pretty old, so not so clean, though the gym upstairs looked nice.

The main station Graz have different shops inside to by what you like for your journey. In front the Bus, Taxi or tram to go inside the old historical City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Graz main station is a modern looking railway station with a small shopping mall included. A SPAR supermarket is open for business Monday to Sunday until 10 p.m.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the main train station for the city of Graz in Austria. This is a nice clean and well kept station with some very nice artwork inside. In addition to the obvious trains, there are places to eat and a large convenience store inside the station itself. I have seen art displays here with old photographs of Graz and details of the history.
