Viele verschiedene Halteplätze. Tram station in Gersthof. Right at the train station, but a bit of a walk. Often very dirty. Everything well signposted. Many snack bars nearby. Many different stopping places.

Sie wurde ursprünglich als Bahnhof der Wiener Dampfstadtbahn in Hochlage eröffnet und wird heute von der S-Bahnlinie S45 bedient. Die Station, seit Aufgabe des Güterverkehrs nur noch eine Haltestelle ohne Weichen, steht ebenso wie große Abschnitte der Vorortelinie unter Denkmalschutz. The Vienna Gersthof stop is on the border between Gersthof and Weinhaus and is the central traffic junction in Vienna's 18th district, Währing. It was originally opened as a high-altitude station for the Vienna Steam City Railway and is now served by the S45 S-Bahn line. The station, which has only been a stop without switches since the abandonment of freight traffic, is a listed building, as is large sections of the suburban line.
