You shouldn't have an emergency with this message, instead of the "next free line" there is only a restart of the waiting loop. - Edit: However, a prompt response (on a Friday) to the contact form, and surprisingly quick help!

Man hat keine Möglichkeit mit einer Person dort zu sprechen geschweige denn, einen Termin zu buchen. Es ist immer alles ausgebucht. Personally not available by phone. This click menu does nothing. You have no way of speaking to a person there let alone booking an appointment. Everything is always fully booked.

Es ist mir absolut unverständlich,warum hier seit Jahren(!!) nichts geändert wird. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, dem Botschafter direkt und persönlich zu schreiben und sich über diese Zustände zu beschweren. The mode of making appointments is absolutely out of the question, grotesque and completely unworthy. It is absolutely incomprehensible to me why nothing has been changed here for years (!!). I can only recommend everyone to write directly and personally to the ambassador and to complain about these conditions.

Ich bin seit 6 Wochen damit beschäftigt, mein im Juni ablaufenden Reisepass zu verlängern. Es scheitert schon an der Terminvergabe. Freie Termine, die sehr schwer zu erhalten sind werden nicht vollständigt auf den Webseiten bearbeitet. Die Folge ist, dass man keine Bestätigung bekommt. Ich bin auf meinen Reisepass angewiesen und bin echt ratlos, wie ich jetzt zu diesem kommen werde. Auch meine Mails an die Botschaft werden nicht bearbeitet. Möglicherweise werde ich ab Juni arbeitslos sein, weil ich meine Dienstreisen nicht mehr antreten kann. Das wirkt auf mich, wie wenn die in Österreich lebenden deutschen Staatsbürger im Moment auf Grund Überlastung??? nicht mehr bearbeitet werden. Auch telefonisch wird man im Kreis geschickt bis man die Ansage bekommt, dass man sich wieder auf die nicht funktionierende Webseiten begeben sollte. Hat jemand eine TIP für mich, wie ich doch noch zu meinem Pass kommen könnte? I feel that my interests are not sufficiently represented in Austria. I have been busy for 6 weeks to extend my passport which is due to expire in June. It already fails at the appointment. Free appointments that are very difficult to obtain are not fully processed on the websites. The result is that you get no confirmation. I'm dependent on my passport and I'm really at a loss as to how I'm going to get it now. My mails to the embassy are not processed either. I may be unemployed from June because I can no longer go on business trips. That seems to me like the German citizens living in Austria at the moment due to overwork??? can no longer be processed. You will also be sent in circles by phone until you get the announcement that you should go back to the non-functioning website. Does anyone have a TIP for me on how I could still get my passport?
D	D.K.M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zum Glück hab ich noch den österreichischen Pass! Seit Anfang September versuche ich verglich einen Termin zu bekommen. Skandalös, dass sowas überhaupt erlaubt ist. Eine echte Frechheit wie hier mit deutschen Bürgern umgegangen wird. Das gesamte Personal müsste dringend ersetzt werden Luckily I still have the Austrian passport! I've been trying to get an appointment since the beginning of September. It's scandalous that this is even allowed. A real cheek as German citizens are treated here. The entire staff urgently needs to be replaced

R	Ranjeeta rai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything went smoothly and fast only the problem was to get an appointment. Every Friday exactly at 10am Appointments are released. You have to be super fast otherwise you won't get an appointment. Within 2-3 min appointment dates were all fully booked when i was booking. So best of luck :)
