They have good food and and great view into The Valley. Sleeping place was clean and the staff very friendly. When you are lucky you can see a great sunset. Please be aware of the Alpeiner Scharte! I don’t know about the exact circumstances now, but as we went over it, it was very dangerous cause the whole ascent was loose! We could only go 1 by one!

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely hosts, excellent food, comfy lager, great views. I had a lovey hike here from Tuxerjochhaus and onwards to Olpererhuette (both lacked character and were cold/unwelcoming). I would return to this place in a heartbeat! I saw a herd of ibex/steinbock in the early morning as I climbed toward Alpeiner Sharte!

Very nice mountain hut. The team puts a lot of effort onto cleanliness and comfort. Had really delicious food and totally recommend this place for eating and staying overnight.

It was the first time I was forced to leave refuge. In the evening we have asked if there is a place to cook in the hut, which is very normal everywhere around Alps I've been before. We have got a very emotional and unfriendly answer that it's not possible to cook neither inside not outside a hut. Ok, we agreed and bought some hot water. In the morning we had to leave to the mountain at 3am, but house keeper told that the kitchen will open at 6 am, so they cannot give us hot water in the morning. So eventually we had to make some boiled water early in the morning using our stove. Housekeeper got up at 4 am and saw we're eating and said that we were breaking the rules of the National Park (seriously? having a stove outside for 15 minutes?) and he won't allow us to keep our stuff inside the hut, otherwise he will just throw everything outside. And he also refused us to return to the refuge after we're back. Eventually we have lost some time before leaving to the route trying to pack our sleeping bags into some bags and hiding them under the stones, which could be very critical for the safety taking into account weather forecast. In fast, this is the most unfriendly and not polite hut I've ever been to. Probably, they are very stressed by COVID as well, but we all are stressed and this is not the reason to kick people off the hut. I hope next year there will be different more friendly keepers working in the hut.

Dinner had three courses (pasta&sauce ox meat with vegetables and tiramisu) - great! Breakfast was also good. Rooms are not really soundproof, but who would expect that. Accomodation paid in cash, rest by card.

The hut was lovely, good hygiene, nice view and good food. But we did not feel welcome there at all. The people had a bad mood. We brought our dishes to the kitchen, to help them, and they got mad at us and called us names. We were shocked. We are a group younger people but we did not do anything to deserve this bad treatment. The moment we arrived it was already like this.
