F	FELIX COOLMAN on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super freundliche Leute, obwohl das ganze Lokal ausgebucht war durften wir zur Familie auf die Ofenbank und wurden herzlich empfangen. Super Essen... Schnitzel aus der Pfanne... Leber usw. ein Traum. Aber am Abend sollte man reservieren um einen Platz zu bekommen. Danke für die Gastlichkeit Super friendly people, although the whole place was fully booked, we were allowed to join the family on the stove bench and were warmly welcomed. Great food ... schnitzel from the pan ... liver etc. a dream. But in the evening you should make a reservation to get a place. Thanks for the hospitality
C	Christine Seifriedsberger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sind kurz nach 14 Uhr im Thomahof angekommen. Am Nebentisch wurden gerade Wiener Schnitzel gebracht, welche sehr gut aussahen. Als uns der Wirt mitteilte, dass es keine warme Speisen mehr gäbe, da die Kuche schon geschlossen sei, bestellten wir eine Essigwurst. Wir fragten den Wirt nochmals, ob es nicht doch noch möglich wär so ein gutes Wiener wie am Nebentisch zu bekommen, verneinte er dies. Als der "Herr Wirt" sich ca. 30 Minuten später dann an den Nebentisch setzte und ein Wiener Schnitzel aß, waren wir doch sehr überrascht. Als wir ihn beim bezahlen darauf ansprachen, meine er: "er hat ein Wiener bekommen, da er der Wirt selbst ist??? Wir kamen uns auf diese Aussage hin sehr minderwertig vor. ;-( Arrived at the Thomahof shortly after 2 p.m. Wiener schnitzel was being brought to the next table, which looked very good. When the landlord informed us that there was no more hot food because the kitchen was already closed, we ordered a vinegar sausage. We asked the landlord again whether it wasn't still possible to get a good Viennese like at the next table, he said no. When the "Herr Wirt" sat down at the next table about 30 minutes later and ate a Wiener Schnitzel, we were very surprised. When we asked him about it while paying, he said: "He got a Viennese because he is the landlord himself ??? We felt very inferior to this statement. ;-(

Abegerundet wird dieses perfekte Erlebnis mit dem “Krampus Museum” im Obergeschoß. Für mich eines der Highlights meiner Steiermark Reise. I ate the best cordon bleu of my life here ? In addition, there is the super friendly and attentive service and a beautiful view. This perfect experience is rounded off with the “Krampus Museum” on the upper floor. For me one of the highlights of my trip to Styria.

Bedienung = Wirt selbst und äußerst freundlich. Immer wieder gerne. The place was recommended to us, we went there today and ate an excellent fried chicken with a mixed salad. Prices moderate. Service = host himself and extremely friendly. Always my pleasure.

Bereits bei der Reservierung wurde uns gesagt, dass wir nicht wie von uns gewollt um 20:00 kommen könnten, da es dann keine warmen Speisen mehr gäbe. Als wir uns dann extra beeilten bekamen wir mit, dass der Nebentisch auch um 20:15 noch etwas Warmes zu essen angeboten bekam, was uns bereits sehr überraschte. Die Jungs bestellten Backhendl (welches sehr gut war) und wir Mädels orderten das einzige vegetarische Gericht neben Salat auf der Karte: Gemüseteller einmal mit und einmal ohne Käse überbacken. Wir erhielten leider zwei Teller mit geschmacklosen Tiefkühlgemüse. Als wir den Wirt darauf ansprachen ging er nicht darauf ein. Auch dann nicht, als wir auf das Preisleistungsverhältnis eingingen (ohne Käse 9€ und mit 12€). Dieser Preis war für uns keinesfalls nachvollziehbar. Seine einzige Antwort darauf war: "Das wird sich wohl nicht ändern". Wir empfanden dies als sehr unverschämt und arrogant. Wir hätten uns eine Erklärung und eine Entschuldigung erhofft. Außerdem: Obwohl die andere Bedienung sehr aufmerksam war, war diese nicht besonders freundlich, wodurch wir vier uns im Thomahof im Allgemeinen nicht wohl fühlten. There were four of us eating at the Thomahof. When we made the reservation, we were told that we could not come at 8:00 p.m. as we wanted, as there would be no more hot dishes. When we hurried we got to know that the next table was also offered something warm to eat at 8:15 p.m., which surprised us a lot. The boys ordered fried chicken (which was very good) and we girls ordered the only vegetarian dish on the menu besides salad: vegetable platter gratinated once with and once without cheese. Unfortunately we received two plates with tasteless frozen vegetables. When we asked the landlord about it, he didn't respond. Not even when we went into the price-performance ratio (without cheese 9 € and with 12 €). This price was by no means understandable for us. His only answer to that was, "I guess it won't change". We found this to be very outrageous and arrogant. We would have hoped for an explanation and an apology. In addition: Although the other waitress was very attentive, she wasn't particularly friendly, which meant that the four of us generally didn't feel at home in the Thomahof.

Ich bin immer wieder gerne beim Thomahof. What more could you ask for - very, very good down-to-earth Styrian cuisine, cordial hosts and also the feeling that there are still some nice things there as they used to be. I always enjoy coming to the Thomahof.
