★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren vor Kurzem (Oktober 21) an einem frühen Samstag-Abend hingefahren, um gut zu speisen. Vor dem Hof war ein Schild aufgestellt: "Heute geöffnet". Es war aber alles zugesperrt. Ob es nun an der Umleitung (Straßenbauarbeiten) lag, spielt keine Rolle. Der Hof/das Restaurant war verlassen. In den Jahren zuvor immer top. Schade, schade. Früher 5*, diesmal leider nur 1*.
 We went there recently (Oct 21) on an early Saturday evening for a good meal. A sign was placed in front of the courtyard: "Open today". But everything was locked. It does not matter whether it was the diversion (road construction work). The courtyard / restaurant was deserted. Always top in the years before. What a pity. Previously 5 *, this time unfortunately only 1 *.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waren im August dort. Ein Desaster. Die Kellnerin mag sich selbst nicht und auch keine Gäste. Waren zu 5. und hatten reserviert. 2 Tische besetzt, die Karte klein aber OK. Die Empfehlung des Hauses war Backhendl, uns überkam Freude und 3 Portionen wurden bestellt. Leider ein Fehler: das schlechteste Backhendl was wir je vorgesetzt bekommen haben-zäh, mit Haut und ohne Bruststück. Das wurde scheinbar für den Salat mit gebackenen Hühnerstreifen verwendet. Das ganze für €18/Portion ist sehr gewagt und nicht Geschäftsfördernd. Fazit: Nie wieder!
Were there in August. A disaster. The waitress doesn't like herself and neither does she like guests. There were five and had made a reservation. 2 tables occupied, the menu small but OK. The recommendation of the house was fried chicken, we were overjoyed and ordered 3 servings. Unfortunately a mistake: the worst fried chicken we've ever been served - tough, with skin and without a brisket. That was apparently used for the salad with baked chicken strips. The whole thing for € 18 / portion is very daring and not conducive to business. Conclusion: never again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service - first when we ordered a Helles beer it turned out to be alcohol free which we weren’t able to return even though it wasn’t pointed out to us that they only had alcohol free Helles.
When we asked for roast potatoes instead of chips with the Schnitzel we received a cheeky comment from the waitress “no one likes them, that’s why they’re not on the menu”.
The Schnitzel with Pommes comes without ketchup so we asked for some which we were charged for without being informed (0.50 € per little packet - they gave us six).
The general attitude of the staff (apart from one waitress that was nice) was very rude and they made comments they didn’t have to make.
The food was average. The schnitzel and pommes were over cooked - burnt even. Would not recommend.
