Die besondere und familiäre Atmosphäre macht es perfekt. Eine große Dankeschön an Tante Birgit und Team We are here in Hohenkendl every six months. A visit is mandatory even when passing through. I can recommend it with a clear conscience! The special and familiar atmosphere makes it perfect. A big thank you to aunt Birgit and team
J	Julian Faßbender on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte in Schwendt im Gasthof Hohenkendl. Die Unterkunft war sehr modern, renoviert und bot alles, was man benötigt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen der Halbpension hat alles getoppt. Jeden Abend gab es ein abwechslungsreiches 3-Gänge-Menü, auf Sonderwünsche wurde ganz selbstverständlich eingegangen. Parken war unter einem Carport möglich. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich Vorzeigegastgeber. Sie sind freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste. Wir haben uns noch nie so wohl gefühlt wie im Gasthaus Hohenkendl. We spent 4 nights in Schwendt in the Gasthof Hohenkendl. The accommodation was very modern, renovated and had everything you needed. The breakfast was very good, the dinner of the half board everything topped. Every evening there was a varied 3-course menu, on special requests was taken quite naturally. Parking was possible under a carport. The hosts are really showcase hosts. They are friendly, helpful and eager to please their guests. We have never felt so comfortable as in the Gasthaus Hohenkendl.
D	David Brunow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine Gaststätte, die nur samstags und Sonntags öffnet und einen dann am Samstag um 13:30 Uhr wegschickt, weil man wegen des geringen Andrangs nur auf Vorbestellung arbeitet. Das ist kaum zu verstehen und nach einer langen Wanderung sehr ärgerlich. Es wurden keine Alternativen, kleine Gerichte oder wenigstens ein Kaffee angeboten. Der Rausschmiß erfolgte aber wenigstens höflich. Für die Küche ist somit leider keine Bewertung möglich. A restaurant that only opens on Saturdays and Sundays and then sends you away on Saturday at 13:30, because you only work on pre-order due to the low demand. This is hard to understand and very annoying after a long hike. There were no alternatives, small dishes or at least a coffee offered. The sacking was at least polite. Unfortunately, no rating is possible for the kitchen.
S	Sebastian S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super Ausgangspunkt für uns zum Skifahren. Alle Skigebiete innerhalb 10-25min erreichbar. Nette zuvorkommende Familie. Leckeres Essen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wenn auch vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für uns zum schlafen aber völlig ausreichend. Alles in allem wirklich Top und für jeden zu Empfehlen. Great starting point for skiing. All ski areas can be reached within 10-25min. Nice obliging family. Delicious food. The room was very clean, though perhaps a bit old. For us to sleep but completely adequate. All in all really top and recommendable for everyone.

Elke ochtend staat er een lekker uitgebreid ontbijtje klaar en in de avond een smakelijk avondmaal. De ligging van het gasthuis is ook goed, vanuit hier kun je gemakkelijk bij allerlei skigebieden komen. Voor deze prijs kan ik mij geen betere plek voorstellen. Cozy and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and the owners are nice people. Every morning there is a nice extensive breakfast ready and in the evening a tasty supper. The location of the guesthouse is also good, from here you can easily reach all kinds of ski areas. I cannot imagine a better place for this price.
