In der Küche der Walserklause werden sie auf hervorragende Weise veredelt. Alle Achtung für das tolle Steak! Wir kommen gerne wieder. A culinary pearl hidden away! A detour to the small town of Marul is worthwhile if you value organic products and fresh preparation. In the Walserklause kitchen, they are refined in an excellent way. All respect for the great steak! We would love to come back.
N	Nicole Kruse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren am Freitagabend da und hatten am Tag vorher den Tisch reserviert. Als wir eintrafen lag der Koch draußen mit dem Kopf auf dem Tisch und hat geschlafen. Mit einem "Hallo" und der Frage, ob wir reingehen dürfen, haben wir ihn quasi geweckt. Er begrüßte uns und gab ein Handzeichen. Drinnen erwartete uns eine nette Frau und zeigte uns unseren Tisch. Das Ambiente war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Nach der Getränkebestellung fragten wir nach der Speisekarte. Sie sagte daraufhin, es gibt keine Karte, sie haben nur 3 Gerichte zur Auswahl (Schnitzel mit Pommes, ein Hähnchengericht und Cordon Bloe). Vorspeise war ein Salat mit zu viel und nicht schmackhaften Dressing. Das Schnitzel und die Pommes waren dennoch sehr lecker. Als Nachtisch gab es anscheinend Eis, das uns aber nicht angeboten wurde. Erst nach der Bezahlung und dem Hinweis, dass eine Speisekarte schön wäre, erklärte die Dame, dass es auch Eis gäbe. Das tollste war die Rechnung. Ein nächstes Mal wird es für uns leider nicht geben, da es uns insgesamt überhaupt nicht zugesagt hat. Wer richtig gut essen möchte dem empfehle ich das Wallis in Raggal. Dort war das Essen toll, eine super Auswahl, schöne Desserts, super freundliches Personal und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. We were there on Friday evening and had reserved the table the day before. When we arrived the cook was lying with his head on the table outside and was sleeping. With a "Hello" and the question of whether we can go in, we practically woke him up. He greeted us and gave us a show of hands. A nice woman was waiting for us inside and showed us to our table. The ambience was very clean and well-kept. After ordering drinks, we asked about the menu. She then said there is no menu, they only have 3 dishes to choose from (schnitzel with fries, a chicken dish and cordon bloe). Starter was a salad with too much and not tasty dressing. The schnitzel and the fries were still very tasty. Apparently there was ice cream for dessert, but we weren't offered it. Only after the payment and the advice that a menu would be nice did the lady explain that there was also ice cream. The best part was the bill. Unfortunately, there won't be a next time for us, because we didn't like it at all. If you want to eat really well, I recommend the Valais in Raggal. The food there was great, a great selection, nice desserts, super friendly staff and all for a fair price.
S	Sebastian Menne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönes Gasthaus! Leider ist die Karte seit dem Pächterwechsel stark reduziert. Es gibt eigentlich nur Schnitzel und nichts richtiges für Vegetarier. Dazu stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Die Bedienung hat kaum deutsch verstanden. Wünsche wurden nicht verstanden und konnten nicht umgesetzt werden. Es war insgesamt nicht so gastfreundlich. Das konnte auch der Schnaps aufs Haus nicht wett machen. Schade, früher war es ein gutes, gemütliches Restaurant im Großen Walsertal. Nice inn! Unfortunately the card has been greatly reduced since the tenant change. There is actually only schnitzel and nothing real for vegetarians. In addition, the price-performance ratio is not right. The service barely understood German. Requests were not understood and could not be implemented. Overall, it wasn't so welcoming. Even the schnapps on the house couldn't make up for that. It's a shame, it used to be a good, cozy restaurant in the Großer Walsertal.
