A	Alexander Wechdorn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netter, schattiger Gastgarten mit lokalen Gerichten und gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich persönlich hab die Kärntner Kasnudeln gegessen, die sehr lecker waren. Ein netter und aufmerksamer Service rundet den tollen Gesamteindruck ab. Nice, shady garden with local dishes and good value for money. I personally ate the Carinthian Kasnudeln, which were very tasty. A nice and attentive service rounds off the great overall impression.
T	Tatonka FU on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind heute nach einer Wanderung eingekehrt und waren sehr hungrig. Die Wirtsstube ist sehr urig und gemütlich. Wir hatten den Zwiebelrostbraten und ein Wiener Schnitzel bestellt. Die Portionen waren reichlich und das Essen war absolut empfehlenswert. Wir hatten zum Nachtisch noch einen Strudel und der Zirbelschnaps war ebenfalls klasse. In manchen Rezensionen wird der Wirt als unfreundlich beschrieben. Das können wir nicht bestätigen. Der Koch fragte zum Schluß, ob alles in Ordnung gewesen sei und war wirklich sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. We returned after a hike today and were very hungry. The restaurant is very rustic and cozy. We had ordered the onion roast and a Wiener schnitzel. The portions were plentiful and the food was absolutely recommendable. We had a strudel for dessert and the stone pine schnapps was also great. In some reviews, the host is described as unfriendly. We cannot confirm that. At the end the cook asked if everything was okay and was really very attentive. We'll definitely be back.
E	Eva B. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gutes Gasthaus, direkt an der Straße und daher auch gut erreichbar. Schöne Plätze im Außenbereich. Auch das Essen hat uns überzeugt und war sehr gut. Leider wurde aber ohne unsere Bestellung ein Beilagensalat berechnet. Als dieser serviert wurde gingen wir davon aus, dass er zu einer der Hauptspeisen gehört und wir dies in der Karte übersehen hatten. Vermutlich handelt es sich hier im ein Missverständnis, das wir leider erst zu spät bemerkt haben, um es zu reklamieren. Very good guest house, right on the street and therefore easy to reach. Nice places outside. Also the food convinced us and was very good. Unfortunately, but without our order a side salad was calculated. When this was served, we assumed that it was one of the main courses and we had overlooked this in the map. Presumably, this is a misunderstanding, which unfortunately we noticed too late to complain.

Die Bedienung sowie die Chefleute sind sehr aufmerksame, kommunikative und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Diesen Gasthof empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt und das sehr tolle Essen! As a family, we dined together at Gasthof Lax after a short hike. The menu is very diverse and does what it says on the tin. The service and the managers are very attentive, communicative and helpful hosts. We are happy to recommend this inn to others. Thank you for the nice stay and the very great food!

Der absolute Hammer ...die Fleischnudeln und die Kletzennudeln...selten was so Gutes geschmaust. Dazu gibts Hausbier und einen tollen Zirbenschnaps. Super freundliches Service und kommunikative einheimische Originale runden den positiven Eindruck ab. Besuch ist jedenfalls zu empfehlen!!! Very cozy country inn. We tasted the menu ... everything was great. The absolute hammer ... the meat noodles and the Kletzennudeln ... seldom feasted on something that good. There is also house beer and a great stone pine schnapps. Super friendly service and communicative local originals round off the positive impression. Visit is definitely recommended!
