Doch leider: Schnitzel ebenso dünn wie zäh, allgemein überteuert: Ein weisser Spritzer 3,10 €, ein überbackenes Brot fast 9 €, da kriegt man woanders schon ein ganzes Menü......und das ganze noch bei Selbstbedienung. Schade daß sich da schon seit Jahren kein gscheiter Wirt findet. Traditional inn in beautiful surroundings, in the middle of the Au. But unfortunately: schnitzel as thin as it is tough, generally overpriced: a white spritzer €3.10, a gratinated bread almost €9, you can get a whole menu somewhere else......and all of that with self-service. It's a shame that there hasn't been a clever host for years.

Das Lokal ist grundsätzlich nett, das Personal sehr nett, aber wir mussten auf 2 von drei Speisen 45 Minuten warten (die erste war da bereits aufgegessen). Dann habe ich nachgefragt ob diese vielleicht vergessen wurden. Nach ein paar Minuten wurden diese gebracht, leider wurde wohl eine Speise vergessen und einfach aus einer Portion Eiernockerl zusätzlich die andere Portion Käsespätzle "gezaubert". In den Käsespätzle waren auch noch ein paar Eier von den Eiernockerl drinnen. Entsprechende Vorspeisenportionen war es dann, d.h. etwa 1/3 des Tellers war mit einer sehr dünnen Schicht Nockerl bedeckt. (das ist meine Vermutung, ich weiß nicht ob wirklich aus einer Speise einfach zwei Teller angerichtet wurden). Somit waren das wohl die teuersten Käsespätzle und Eiernockerl die ich je bezahlt habe, also im Verhältnis zur Menge! Löblich kann ich zumindest den Schokokuchen (Sacherschnitte) erwähnen. Der war wirklich sehr gut, für EUR 4,40 war dieser wenigstens sehr groß und für zwei Personen eine passende Nachspeise. Fazit: Ich denke sowas sollte nicht passieren und man kann einfach dem Gast sagen, dass hier etwas vergessen wurde. Ich hätte gerne noch ein wenig gewartet wenn ich dafür eine normale Portion oder andere Speise erhalten hätte. Unfortunately, I have to write a not so positive review. The restaurant is basically nice, the staff very nice, but we had to wait 45 minutes for two of three dishes (the first was already eaten). Then I asked if they might have been forgotten. After a few minutes these were brought, unfortunately one dish was probably forgotten and the other portion of cheese spaetzle was simply "conjured up" from one portion of egg dumplings. There were also a few eggs from the egg dumplings in the Käsespätzle. It was then the corresponding starter portions, i.e. about 1/3 of the plate was covered with a very thin layer of dumplings. (that's my guess, I don't know whether one dish was really just two plates). So these were probably the most expensive cheese spaetzle and egg dumplings I have ever paid, in relation to the amount! I can at least praise the chocolate cake (Sacherschnitte). It was really very good, for EUR 4.40 it was at least very large and a suitable dessert for two people. Conclusion: I think something like that shouldn't happen and you can just tell the guest that something has been forgotten here. I would have liked to have waited a little longer if I had received a normal portion or other food.

Simply wonderful to eat and drink to go in the Stockerauer Au at Konrad. Always fresh, delicious food with a lot of love and variety.

Dennoch der Gastgarten war schön und das Bier war gut. Kommen werde ich nur noch zum trinken. No service, you pay before you eat and no card payment. 150g potato salad cost just under 4 €. Gentlemen, where are you? Still the outdoor dining area was nice and the beer was good. I'll only come for a drink.
B	Brigitte Schmid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöner Spaziergang durch die Au. Gasthaus immer geöffnet. Eine schöne Lage, da es mitten in der Natur vom Augebiet liegt. Das Essen gibt es dort auch zum mitnehmen .Einen Ausflug mit Hund und Kind wert. Beautiful walk through the Au. Inn always open. A beautiful location, as it is in the middle of the nature of the Augebiet. The food is also available to take away. Worth a trip with your dog and child.
