Whilst on holiday in Austria, I fancied to eat typically local food. Following reviews I chose Gasthof Bucherwirt as the dine in restaurant. On my way in I was greeted with a guten abend friendly waitress who informed me that english language menus are not available. We sat down and with the help of google translate I was working my way down the menu. The waitress came and kindly offered to help with the translation of the menu. She recommended traditional plates and I followed the recommended platters.
The food came in less than 15 minutes and it was very good. The portions are big and my kids only ate half the food, ending taking food as takeaway. The pork schnitzel, cordon bleu were very tasty.
What I liked was the attention given by the staff, who came more than once to check whether all was ok. I must say that the waitress was amongst the most friendly Austrians whom I came across during the holiday. I'm saving the location of the restaurant to come back again in the near future.

They also have a nice playground, which the kids enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a Sunday afternoon the place was packed. We both had meat dishes and drinks and came in under 40 Euro. I had the Wiener Schnitzel and the sheer size would have been a point of advertisment anywhere else.
On top, it was actually super tasty. Plus you can, what you don't eat with you.
