A	Andreas Gutzelnig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren heute zwei Familien mit 4 Kindern beim Gassner und haben sehr gut gegessen. Beim Bezahlen drehte sich die Stimmung aber schlagartig. Der Wirt war extrem angespannt und unfreundlich und hat uns wegen einer Kleinigkeit angeschnautzt (es ging um die Anzahl der Extra Brote), hat dann die Rechnung zerrissen und uns vor allen anderen Gästen angeschrien. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Aufgrund der sonstigen sehr guten Bewertungen hatte er vermutlich einfach einen schlechten Tag. So ein Verhalten Gästen gegenüber geht aber trotzdem nicht. Schade um die gute Küche. Nie wieder. Today we were two families with 4 children at the Gassner's and ate very well. When paying, however, the mood suddenly turned. The host was extremely tense and unfriendly and snapped at us about a little something (it was about the number of extra breads), then tore up the bill and yelled at us in front of all the other guests. We have never seen anything like it. Given the other very good reviews, he probably just had a bad day. Such behavior towards guests is still not possible. It's a shame about the good kitchen. Never again.

Genau Betriebe wie dieser verkörpern das Mühlviertel perfekt! The snack was great as always! The staff polite, funny, top motivated. Always like to come back here. Exactly businesses like this embody the Mühlviertel perfectly!

Bratljause und Brettljause waren hervorragend, als Nachspeise noch ein Spitzbua, der Most ebenso hervorragend. Und dazu der Herr des Hauses, immer mit Scherzen auf der Zunge, Sohn und Tochter schmeißen den Service. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp! Small, but extra fine, wonderful cool inner courtyard, very pleasant even in the heat. And also excellent cuisine, everything from our own production. Bratljause and Brettljause were excellent, as dessert a Spitzbua, the must just as excellent. And the master of the house, always with jokes on the tongue, son and daughter throw the service. An absolute insider tip!

The farm is not allowed to sell warm food, but the cold meats, bread, and spreads will make you forget all about that. Go for a heavy appetizer or a light meal. The location is a little far from Linz, but well worth the trip.
