★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give it 4.7 stars i loved all the food so if you love the BEST food i recoomend this place alot. I would give it 5.0 stars but the only thing that bad happend is the yakiniku grill was not working but the cook came and helped us so he was very nice so friendly service i very much recommend the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice japanese restaurant. The food is awesome. Especially the Wagyu beef. It was sooo tender. Totally worth it, despite the price (30~35€ for 100g of Australian Wagyu). Expect 50€ average for each person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is amazing, this place feels like a hidden gem! The ‘sakegirl’ is also really delicious. Only didn’t know that the ‘napkin’ was an apron, but that wasn’t a problem. We would definitely come back here ?

The girl behind the counter speaks German, English and also with Japanese… like c’mon, she is really polite and helpful.
I liked the atmosphere and music inside.
The owner is actually the cook (I hope I'm not mistaken), he knows his way around the kitchen (no wonder there) the takeaway food looked very good and presentable, and everything, EVERYTHING WAS VERY DELICIOUS, from the salad to the salad dressing, everything was fresh, even the cucumber was perfect, and the main dish... that grilled pork belly, finely sliced a light grilled with the rice was awesome, nothing like I've ever had, the souses were also excellent, really perfect.
In addition, I ordered an salty pancake, which was very delicious
I can't wait to go back and try everything Ganko has to offer; it's certainly a hidden gem.

service can be slow in busy times and the price is little high but the service is good and the ‘grill your own meat’ style bbq is rare to find in Vienna and the meat quality and variety of available parts on menu were good ?

This restaurant @ganko_wien is absolutely a hidden gem in Vienna. They make authentic Japanese grilled foods which I normally only see in Japanese videos or anime. ??
Cannot wait to visit them again !
