★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Erdfriedhof am Tabor ist für mich einer der schönsten Friedhöfe, die ich in letzter Zeit besucht habe. Er ist der älteste Renaissance - Friedhof Österreichs. Seit 1584 gibt es den wohl ältesten Camposanto nördlich der Alpen. Wunderschöne Schmiedeeisen - Grabkreuze, kunstvolle Gruften in Arkadengängen. Sehr beeindruckend ist die Freilandgruft der Familie Werndl.
Die Inschriften auf manchen Gräbern und Gruften sind sehr interessant. Bei der Friedhofs - Verwaltung kann man den Bildband über den Friedhof erwerben! Sehr schön.
The Erdfriedhof at Tabor is one of the most beautiful cemeteries I've visited lately for me. He is the oldest Renaissance - cemetery in Austria. Since 1584 there is the probably the oldest Campo Santo north of the Alps. Beautiful wrought iron - grave crosses, elaborate tombs in arcades. Very impressive is the outdoor tomb of the Werndl family.
The inscriptions on some graves and tombs are very interesting. In the cemetery - Management can purchase the book about the cemetery! Very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Immer ordentliche Gehwege, genug Wasser um zu pflegen und oder man kann noch davor frische Blumen kaufen... Auch wenn man Hilfe braucht, ist jemand rundum die Uhr da.
Always tidy sidewalks, enough water to maintain and or you can buy fresh flowers beforehand ... Even if you need help, someone is there around the clock.
