Great hut, good food and drinks, great apple strudel and great cakes, very nice staff, very crowded on nice days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gepflegte, saubere Alpenvereinshütte - sicher ein Verdienst der netten Wirtsleute. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich (Gulasch, Spaghetti, diverse Suppen und kalte Speisen...) wird aber durch wechselnde Schmankerl aufgepeppt. Der Rindfleisch-Salat z.B. ist sehr lecker.
Very well-kept, clean alpine club hut - certainly thanks to the nice landlords. The menu is clear (goulash, spaghetti, various soups and cold dishes ...) but is spiced up by changing delicacies. The beef salad e.g. is very delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine der besten Hütten in den Alpen. Für Feinschmecker geeignet. Das Essen ist ein Highlight fürs Auge. Schmecken tut es auch wie es aussieht. Die Hütte selber ist sehr gepflegt und die Zimmer sauber. Der Aufstieg auf die Hütte und den Gipfel ist auch für Kinder geeignet. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Wenn mal Kein Nebel da ist, hat man einen Blick auf den Bodensee. Zur Sonnenwede werden auf den Gipfeln Feuer entfacht. War schon mehrmals dort und würde wieder kommen.
One of the best cabins in the Alps. For gourmets. The food is a highlight for the eye. Tasting also does what it looks like. The cottage itself is well maintained and the rooms are clean. The ascent to the hut and the summit is also suitable for children. The view is beautiful. If there is no fog, you have a view of Lake Constance. At the Sonnenwede, fires are kindled on the summits. Has been there several times and would come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Freschenhaus ist eine sehr schön gelegene Hütte auf der man Sehr gut übernachten kann.
Die Hüttenwirte zaubern ein leckeres Essen und sind immer gut gelaunt und für einen kleine Unterhaltung zu haben.
Der Zustieg über Gapfohl mit gehfreudigen Kindern ist gut machbar.
The Freschenhaus is a beautifully located hut where you can stay overnight.
The hut keepers conjure up delicious food and are always in a good mood and available for a little chat.
The approach via Gapfohl with children who like to walk is easy to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im Gipfelbuch bereits vermerkt, die Thekenfrau die auch Frühstück macht und Zimmer zeigt, ..extrem unsymphatisch, über die massen unflexibel und die unpassendste Person an diesem Ort. Leider, denn die Hütte selbst scheint iO.
Already noted in the summit book, the woman at the counter who also makes breakfast and shows the room ... extremely unsympathetic, inflexible over the masses and the most unsuitable person in this place. Unfortunately, because the hut itself seems OK.
