They are very friendly and professional! I took a photo for my passport. It looks perfect. I recommend it. The good thing is that it is in the center of Vienna. The price is affordable...

I made the appointment specifically to have passport photos made for my 3 week old daughter. She is American and required very specific photos for her US passport: open eyes, ears visible, white background and no hands close to the face -- most all of which is quite difficult for a 3 week old to do. Foto Fayer was listed as the first recommendation on the US Consulate's website for local photographers. I emailed with Foto Fayer numerous times clearly describing the situation and the photo specifications and based on their assurances made an appointment, since I figured a professional photographer specializing in passport photos would have experience in coaxing an infant into the correct pose. On arrival Foto Fayer's team was not prepared for the appointment. The photographer was impatient and after the first photo with half open eyes stated that "this is already perfect” - which even for a layperson like myself was obviously far from perfect. When I asked the photographer to give us more time and do a couple more shots so we can get a better image, he said he couldn’t spend an hour waiting on my daughter to open her eyes and that he had walk-in business waiting (We even offered him to handle walk-in requests, despite our appointment). I was truly disturbed by his statement, especially because I made an appointment and even on Fayer’s website it is listed that "Wir sind auch auf Kinder- und Babyfotos spezialisiert!” Overall, we experienced an unacceptably low level of service at Foto Fayer and cannot recommend them for taking US passport photos for infants. Although their location in central Vienna may be convenient, the high price markup that comes with it is unjustifiable given their poor level of customer service. We will be alerting the US Consulate to update their photographer list accordingly.
