★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok. So the fort itself was decent and had many placards in both German and English explaining the history of the fort and the area. However, i'm writing this review to tell you the easy way to get here. We took the gravel forrest road (you'll want a car with high clearance but a 4x4 was not necessary) and parked just a 1/4 mile from Fort Claudia at the end of the swinging bridge. (There's a small pull off there). This was great for my parents because there was no way they were going to make the hike up to the bridge from the valley below. Plus, at that parking area you get a great view of the bridge and especially the old Ehrenburg Castle! If you want to enter the swinging bridge from that side there is a ticket machine there as well. (Note: i don't know weather this road is open in every season or on every day. Google maps routed us here so we ran with it and it payed off. If you try this go set for a second option if it doesn't pan out).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love ruin and historic places. It was really nice to see two places in one. Also the perfect family trip. And we had a lot of snow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old ruins with a great viewpoint. There are some historical information posted, so it's worth a visit. The walk to the ruins isn't strenuous at all. After leaving the suspension bridge, it'll take less than 5 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice ruins with amazing views. Only a five minutes walk from the bridge, so make sure you visit them when visiting the Highlight bridge itself. You can enjoy views at the valley from here and take a few nice photos if the castle. The fort itself was built in the seventeenth century, so that's a nice piece of history to have a look at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view and interesting if you're a fan of old things and ruins! There's a few signs with information all across the Fort. If you took the "Highline179", it's just a 5 minute trip there and easy to pick up!
