★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind um 18 Uhr mit einer Buchungsbestätigung von Booking.com an der Unterkunft angekommen.
Unser Zimmer war jedoch vergeben - unsere Buchung unbekannt (obwohl bereits bezahlt).
Anstatt uns direkt zu helfen ist die Chefin erstmal zurück in die Küche gegangen. Es gab weder etwas Freundlichkeit uns gegenüber noch überhaupt ein Verständnis dafür, dass sie einen Fehler gemacht hat. Fazit der Chefin war: "Der Fehler muss bei Booking.com liegen". Die Kinder haben geweint, auch das war ihr nicht wichtig.
Erst nach ner Viertel Stunde hat sie sich dann bemüht uns eine Ersatzunterkunft zu besorgen. Wir haben derweil selbst im Internet geschaut und sind am Ende zu einer anderen Unterkunft "Mühlbacher Hof" gefahren.
Diese war - im ersten Eindruck, ein Zimmer haben wir ja im Zirmhof nie gesehen - erheblich schöner, die Chefin dort super freundlich, das ganze Haus erheblich moderner und die Übernachtung 10% günstiger.
Selbst bei der anschließenden Stornierung durch Booking.com hat die schriftliche Bestätigung der Pension und somit unsere Rückerstattung auf sich warten lassen.
We arrived at the property at 6 p.m. with a booking confirmation from Booking.com.
However, our room was taken - our booking unknown (although already paid for).
Instead of helping us directly, the boss first went back to the kitchen. There was no kind of friendliness towards us or any understanding at all that she made a mistake. The boss's conclusion was: "The fault must be with Booking.com". The children cried, that wasn't important to her either.
Only after a quarter of an hour did she try to find alternative accommodation for us. In the meantime, we checked the internet ourselves and at the end drove to another accommodation "Mühlbacher Hof".
It was - on the first impression, we never saw a room in the Zirmhof - much nicer, the boss there super friendly, the whole house much more modern and the overnight stay 10% cheaper.
Even with the subsequent cancellation by Booking.com, the written confirmation from the guesthouse and thus our reimbursement was a long time coming.
