★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I just ended a six night stay at Hotel Fahrnberger in late May 2019. We booked via “Hunt Austria” specifically to fly fish the Rivers Ybbs and Salza. We also had family who live in Vienna meet us for the weekend. The Hotel Fahrnberger far exceeded our expectations in terms of room (very comfortable bed and linens!), meals (truly exceptional, traditional yet creative menu), dining service (Monika is a pro!), staff awareness of our fishing schedule, on- site massage (exceeded my husband ‘s high requirements for his aching back). The owners’ presence and involvement in every aspect of running this alpine, boutique hotel shows. The whole package was perfection at a very reasonable price. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most beautiful location and customer focused staff. The food is 5 stars!! I would for sure come back!! Location is 5 mins drive from ski lifts and beautiful waterfalls. Hotel staff made the difference! Very nice and happy people.
