Er ist Teil des "Stille-Nacht-Friedenswegs" und erinnert an Komponist und Dichter des bekannten Weihnachtsliedes, das in aller Welt gesungen wird. In der direkten Verlängerung des Stegs führt in Oberndorf ein Treppenaufgang zur Kalvarienberg-Kapelle. The Europasteg allows pedestrians and cyclists to get from German running to Oberndorf in Austria (or vice versa) without border controls. It is part of the "Silent Night Peace Walk" and is reminiscent of the composer and poet of the famous Christmas carol that is sung all over the world. In the direct extension of the footbridge in Oberndorf, a staircase leads to the Kalvarienberg chapel.

Sehr schöne Aussicht, viel Geschichte die man am Weg auch gut erklärt bekommt. Gehört bei uns zum täglichen spazieren mir den Kindern dazu. Part of the very beautiful, compact walkways between and in Laufen and Oberndorf. Very nice view, a lot of history that you get well explained along the way. With us, it's part of everyday strolling with the children.

Ideal um hierbei einen Abstecher über die Stille Nacht Kapelle zu machen und über die befahrbare Salzach zurück nach Deutschland/Laufen zu kommen. Nice opportunity to cross the Salzach and see the old town of Laufen from a different perspective. Ideal for making a detour to the Silent Night Chapel and coming back to Germany / Laufen via the passable Salzach.

AT. here on the Friedensweg, a little walk or. like hiking. Comes from SILENT NIGHT CHAPEL over the Saalach footbridge to the long staircase (called Europasteg). Above is an open altar. If you want to go further, you can probably go to the big pilgrimage church!.
