The memorial plaque next to the memorial is very informative. You can find out more about a camp for 6,000 forced laborers in the local history museum. Be sure to visit the cemetery with the mass graves from this period, and please take a candle with you.

Thank you to all citizens who have worked for the realization of this important memorial!
