周りがバロック様式の建物ばかりなので一際洗練されていて目立ちます、アール・ヌーヴォーの建物。フランス語で「新しい芸術」の意味。
フランスとベルギーではスティル･モデルヌstyle moderne(現代様式)，ドイツではユーゲントシュティールJugendstil(青春様式)，オーストリアではゼツェッシオン(分離派)など種々の名で呼ばれます。
従来の様式に囚われない装飾性や、鉄やガラスといった当時の新素材の利用などが特徴です。花や植物の模様ツルを発端としているので流れるような曲線が細やか、エレガントです。

The surroundings are all Baroque buildings, so it is very sophisticated and conspicuous, the Art Nouveau building. Meaning of "new art" in French.
It is called by various names such as Still Moderne in France and Belgium, Jugendstil in Germany, and Secession in Austria.
It is characterized by its decorativeness that is not bound by traditional styles and the use of new materials of the time such as iron and glass. Since the pattern vines of flowers and plants are the starting point, the flowing curves are delicate and elegant.
