best ice cream in linz, quite pricy though, the cheapest scoop costs 2€, but its organic and they have many vegan options. also ask if you can try the crazy, more expensive flavours.

This is honestly the best ice cream I know, including many of the top handcrafted ice cream shops throughout Vienna and Graz and whole of Austria. I honestly think you can feel the passion and consideration that goes into each new creation. The only thing is that the "strains" haven't really changed much throughout the past year(s) so whenever I went there, there were the same flavours available I already knew for a long time (even though I love them like the Tropical Lady or the white chocolate hemp seed or the Powidl& mohn, the earl grey, the black vanilla, etc. etc.) and sometimes certain flavours (which usually seem to be manually selected for their perfectly balanced flavour combination) are just overboardingly dominant. I would have loved the blue summer ice cream with Bergamot (Tauchgang or something) but I couldn't stand the peppermint, and the sweetness of the Powidl & Mohn- ice cream is way too much sometimes. It would be nice to have a chance of feedback somehow because the owner is often experimenting with the flavours and their variations, but even if we tell the staff that there is way too much peppermint or sugar inside, all they can do is reply:"We agree and have already tried to tell the boss but it falls on deaf ears". Apart from that, highly highly recommend! Even their ice cream cones (the waffles) are homemade and they smell incredibly good, even just in passing.

Awesome, weird, and innovative ice cream flavors that always change, and a beautiful ceiling. But very pretentious, and really expensive. If you want black or rainbow ice cream and handmade cones, go for it. If you want vanilla or strawberry, and less than 2€ per scoop, don't.
