★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Johann was pleasant, cordial and very patient in teaching 4 children and 4 adults how to make Austrian style apple strudel, as well as the Salzburger Nockerl. The goulash soup that we had as part of our lunch was also very delicious! Johann was also very good at explaining the history behind some of the food. I highly recommend adding Edelweiss Cooking School as part of your plans when visiting Salzburg. We would all do it again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The course was amazing and lots of fun! I wanted to see how Strudel is made for a long time. Everything was prepared perfectly and the steps were really well explained. The space itself is used and decorated very nicely and very clean! The best part is that you get to eat the sweets that you just created. ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved this cooking experience. Chef Johann made everything so easy to follow, with clear instructions and easy recipes, and the food was delicious. The cooking school is in an old customs house cut into the rock and is a really interesting venue. I would highly recommend this experience if you have time to kill in Salzburg.

Everything was neatly laid out for the class and the kitchen venue is also very cool. Definitely recommend visiting for a fun and unique activity in Salzburg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time learning to cook strüdel and nockrel. The little cooking school is in one of the buildings that were built into the cliff face so the kitchen is in a very neat setting. The chef was accommodating for my three year old son. I love to both bake and cook and I still learned many new things during this experience.

Thank you to the two girls who ran the class, we were in the German class but as I am an English speaker they translated everything for me and answered all my questions. The owner as well was extremely pleasant when we called about our reservation.
Highly recommend during your visit to Salzburg!
