★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Fahrt über die Kaunertaler Gletscherstraße ist schon ein Erlebnis. Oben lohnt sich die Fahrt mit der Karlesjochbahn um einen spektakulären Blick auf das Dreiländereck werfen zu können. Nur dort oben hatten wir noch Schnee. Ansonsten ist nicht viel zu erleben außer unvernünftigen Touristen mit Krücken und Pantoletten.
 The drive over the Kaunertal Glacier Road is quite an experience. At the top, it is worth taking the Karlesjochbahn cable car to get a spectacular view of the triangle. We only had snow up there. Otherwise there is not much to experience except for unreasonable tourists with crutches and mules.
