Zahme Enten, Stege zum springen, grober Kies und Wiese zum liegen.
Viele Bäume.
Viele freundliche Hunde, Leinenpflicht.
Kleiner Stand mit 5 Tischen: Eskimo Eis ( veganer Ben&Jerry ? ) kleine Speisen, Häferl café mit BIO Milch ?
 Pleasantly refreshing water.
Perfect for SUP's
Tame ducks, jetties to jump, coarse gravel and meadow to lie on.
Many trees.
Lots of friendly dogs, leash compulsory.
Small stand with 5 tables: Eskimo ice cream (vegan Ben & Jerry ?) small dishes, Häferl café with BIO milk ?

ganz Altenwört. Schön still zum Relaxen & zum Nachdenken. Geht
man auf der seichten Stelle durch,s
Wasser gelangt man mittels Pfad in
die Au, Richtung Altenwörter Schiffs-
scheuse, dort kann man in ungefährer
20minütiger wartezeit die Schiffe zu-
schauen beim Durchschleusen.
Und wieder langsam zurück. Die eleganten Schwäne und in großen
scharen die Wildenten mit ihren
bis 20Wuserln füttern.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Donaualtarm Altenwörth lädt zum Spazieren gehen und/oder Enstpannen am Rande des Altarms ein.
Etliche kostenlose Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Der Fußweg ist ebenso ein sehr beliebter Radweg. Vorsicht ist geboten - man ist selten allein unterwegs.
Über die kleine Brücke gelangt man in ca 30min zu Fuß zum Kraftwerk Altenwörth.
Bei etwas Glück kann man Schiffe beim einschläusen beobachten.
The Altenwörth old arm of the Danube invites you to go for a walk and / or relax on the edge of the old arm.
There are plenty of free parking spaces. The footpath is also a very popular bike path. Caution is advised - you are rarely out and about alone.
You can walk over the small bridge to the Altenwörth power station in about 30 minutes.
With a little luck you can watch ships fall asleep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jetzt, nach Baustellenende, wieder schön zum Radfahren oder spazieren gehen. Auch die Verbindung zum Donauradweg und Kraftwerk Altenwörth ist, wenn es der Wasserstand zulässt, wieder offen. Ein schöner Ort zum Ausspannen.
Now, after the construction site has finished, it's nice to go cycling or walking again. The connection to the Danube Cycle Path and Altenwörth power station is also open again, if the water level allows it. A nice place to relax.

Für Mensch und Tier erholsamer Spaziergang
Machten eine ebene 10km Wanderung
Wonderful hiking trails. At least sports shoes. Hiking shoes are an advantage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es ist ein wunderschöner Wanderweg um den Altarm herum. Sind etwas über 4 Kilometer. Die Umbauten und die Fischtreppe sind fertig. Schöne Sandbuchten. Haben Kormorane gesehen und leider arbeiten die Biber auch sehr fleißig dort.
It is a beautiful hiking trail around the oxbow lake. Are a little over 4 kilometers. The conversions and the fish ladder are finished. Beautiful sandy bays. Saw cormorants and unfortunately the beavers also work very hard there.
