★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful sidewalk cafe for a glass of wine. The service was great. Will go back just to try the beautiful indoors for dining. Really loved this little gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Specialty pork steak was bland. Nothing like a decent beef steak. The service just "was there" so when I left a euro and change for tips the "sweet" lady stopped talking to me and shove the card machine in my face :) she didn't utter a chirp during 1 minute payment interaction, took the tip, turned around and silently left. No "thanks" no "bye" no "was everything alright?"...
If you folks want to adopt the US model and get Up to 20% of bill as tips, prepare to change the attitude. It's not my fault you're serving tables. Maybe greet you guests at least... Maybe get that "I'm so tired and there's another tourist body..." Unfriendly expression off your face. And this is in a fancier restaurant not a cheap diner! I'm hoping it was a just a bad day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful restaurant! It is not large, so reservations would be recommended. I went on a rainy fall evening around 8pm on a Monday and got a table immediately but then it filled up in 30 minutes. The soup of the day - garlic soup! I thought why not try it, and loved it! Definitely recommend that and the mushroom risotto with fried chicken. Incredible flavors.

Anchovies salad with Fragole and Aubergine. A wonderful Octopus with mayo spots at cardamom. Wine selection is fantastic. Enrico, the Sommelier, a young talent. Very recommended. Very.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We sat out on the covered patio at the front for an impromptu dinner. The service was better than most places in Salzburg but a bit slow when it came to the end of the evening. We very much enjoyed the food. The octopus was truly amazing.
