habe mir für in der Früh um 8 Uhr ein Taxi am Tag davor bestellt. Am Telefon meinte der Fahrer dass es ca 40-45 € kosten würde für einen Fahrzeit von 10-15 Minuten. Am nächsten Morgen war kein Taxi in sich und musste selber fahren da ich sonnst meinen Zug verpasst hätte

I hiked to Wurzenpass and needed to go down to the railway station to the valley. I had very little battery and called the first taxi service I could find.
They used shady tactics, that I only know from far away countries (Bali, Brazil, Belize, ... -- you get the idea)
(1) On the phone, when I said that I want to go to the railway station, the operator said that there is no connection (without knowing where I want to go) and that I should take the full trip with the taxi. I ended the call to check, and of course there were hourly connections.
(2) The operator said it's gonna be 40-45 Euros and 15 minutes wait. I waited 35 minutes and had to pay 55 Euros (driver: "the operator had the old tariff, it changed recently). Only later did I learn, that this part of Austria does not have a "tariff", it is "freie Fahrpreisvereinbahrung", so I shouldn't have to pay more than 45. (Should have known, since the meter was never on.)
Thank you for making me feel like I'm in a warm corrupt country again!
